About the Director

Jocelyn Hrzic, dance director

Jocelyn Hrzic received her early training at Sigel’s School of Dance and in New York City as a scholarship student at Steps on Broadway. She holds a B.A. in Dance from Point Park College. Joci has danced professionally with Maxine Sherman in New York City and also with the West Virginia Dance Theater. She was a performer and also Dance Captain for both Norwegian and Royal Caribbean Cruise Ships for six years. She has served as a faculty member and the head of the dance department at the Grier School since 2001. Joci lives near the campus of the Grier School with her husband and baby daughter Jillian.
