Program Schedule

The Dance Intensive program is three weeks in duration. Students arrive on Sunday afternoon and meet with dance director Joci Hrzic upon registration. We have orientation activities for all Grier Summer participants Sunday afternoon and evening. Sunday evening, campers choose their elective activities and they receive their individual daily schedules at breakfast Monday morning. Dance Intensive students are scheduled to be with Joci for dance instruction for two periods in the morning and two periods in the afternoon each day (see A Typical Day). We follow the daily schedule on most days, including Saturdays and Sundays. On Thursdays, we have special events and theme days at camp, and on the second and third Mondays of the session, we conduct recreational field trips to local points of interest. There is a dance recital the evening of the final Thursday of the session, and camper departure for all Grier Summer participants is by noon on Friday.
