Show Camper Program

A challenging program for advanced riders

Advanced riders, ages 11 to 17.

Session 1: June 28 - July 17, 2009
Cost: $4,900

Session 2: July 19 - August 7, 2009
Cost: $4,300

 

Show Campers are serious riders, aged 11 to 17, who have at least one full year of show experience. Show campers are assigned a horse to ride, care for, and prepare for off-campus horse shows. Campers enrolled in the show camper program are also welcome to bring a horse to camp. In addition to spending time caring for her show horse, each show camper has two daily riding lessons.

 

Show Campers participate in local rated horse shows while they attend Allegheny Riding Camp. Horse show costs are included in the Show Camper registration fee.

 

Our riding directors are happy to discuss a potential camper's eligibility for this program if you are unsure if she meets the criteria. Interested parents may contact Emily Zientek or Ellen Guhl at 814-684-3000. Emily personally works with the show campers during the summer.
