Where we Eat

Hot buffet-style meals are served three times a day in our dining room. There are always a variety of choices, including a salad bar and sandwich bar at lunch and dinner, and a cereal bar during every meal. Vegetarian options are also available. Our frozen yogurt machine is a very popular source for dessert after lunch.

 

Our food service staff are experienced, full-time school employees. They are dedicated to providing nutritious and appealing meals for girls.

 

Meals are a great time for counselors to reconnect with campers after a busy morning or afternoon of activities. Each age-group unit sits together at a table with the counselor and other staff assigned to the unit.

At lunch, we announce the “Camper of the Day,” nominated by staff for having a good attitude or performing good deeds. The Camper of the Day plays a game to determine her reward … anything from dressing her counselor in wacky clothes to smashing a pie in the Camp Director’s face!

 

In addition to regular meals, we also serve a snack each afternoon in the courtyard. After dinner, campers may purchase a small amount of candy at the camp store. Campers are not allowed to have food in the dorm rooms.
